The Nanolex Hybrid Mid-Heavyweight Wool Pad offers the benefits of natural wool fibers and a synthetic backing.

The natural fibers in this pad are mechanically separated and cut to a specific length. This means that all hair has the same length and a proportional result. The advantage of natural fibers over synthetic fibers is that natural fibers naturally attempt to rise immediately after they flatten during polishing. In addition, natural fibers will coagulate much less quickly than synthetic fibers.

The fibers are bonded in a 100% synthetic support and not on a natural support such as the skin. Wet natural supports dry very poorly so that the pad lasts much less. By combining natural fibers with a synthetic backing, you get the best of both worlds!
