Based on Si3D technology, Nanolex Car Care offers a range of products specifically designed and developed to meet the most demanding demands and needs of our professional customers.

Nanolex’s Si3D molecules – precursors to ceramic and hybrid materials – are made up of silica, nitrogen, hydrogen and organic compounds such as carbon. These high performance polymers are solvent and fluorine free.
The additionally implemented thermoplastic component forms a flexible and incredibly hydrophobic cross-linked matrix with remarkable hardness and durability.

Nanolex Si3D is extremely resistant to weathering and chemicals, which makes it an excellent protection against corrosion in addition to allowing easy cleaning.
Nanolex Si3D can also increase the hardness of your paintwork up to 9H+ by adding a clear coat deepening the color of the treated surface. Coating thickness may vary depending on the number of layers of Nanolex Si3D. The thickness of the coating, combined with the sophisticated nature of the Nanolex Si3D matrix structure, makes the surfaces resistant to abrasion caused by frequent cleaning as well as most chemicals.
A significant portion of automotive coatings are solvent-based. The consistency of the liquid, its viscosity and its volatility are dependent on the solvents used. Nanolex Car Care does not incorporate any aromatic solvent in the formulation of its products due to the potential health risks involved, making their use safe in a closed environment.
Si3D coatings have very good solvent evaporation properties – approximately 90% of the solvents will evaporate within the first 24 hours, and the remaining 10% will evaporate within 1 week. Note that solvent evaporation is highly dependent on temperature and weather conditions.
Unlike traditional protective coatings such as automotive wax and conventional polymeric coatings, whose protective effectiveness decreases over time and the use of degreasers or alkaline detergents, or due to mechanical removal, the Nanolex Si3D coating has exceptional durability and high insensitivity to abrasion due to frequent washing and the use of strong alkaline or acidic detergents.
Nanolex Si3D was developed, tested and manufactured in Germany.

Our opinion: A ceramic of excellent hardness, with easy application, and tolerance to a wide range of humidity for the application. Can also be coupled with the Nanolex Optimizer in case of strong heat to delay the drying in order to facilitate the application.
